It has a highly detailed interior with opening Front doors, boot and bonnet. Headlight/Fog light/rear light sections have holes ready made so all you have to do is put LED lights in if you so wish. Interior pieces can be taken out separately or as a whole for convenience for your RC parts to fit. Wheelbase size is appx. 11.5 inches.

Examples of this body being used for off road Rc’ing can be provided on request.

First Entry…

Well it took me quite a few hours but I managed to put together the Radio Control car.

It’s a Tamiya VW Touareg (Chassis: CC-01 Discontinued). There’s only a few of these remaining and as a result it was quite a task getting hold of one.

I was going to post up some clean pictures but in my eagerness to test it out I failed to do that. The test lasted appx. 15 minutes. I must say I’m impressed. It’s fast and very powerful.

It’s still not the finished article however, I need to waterproof the Servo, Receiver, ESC and Battery. I also have to replace the body.

As you can see I haven’t done any painting or put any decals on it. There’s no point as I will be replacing it. I was hoping to replace it with a Land Rover Defender 90 and then do it up but I might have to settle with a Hummer as they are more readily available. It will of course be a military style Hummer. Once it looks respectable, I shall upload some video footage.
